I'm sorry, I'm new to the site, i didn't know that you needed to pay. I hope that I haven't ####ed anyone off.

The main advantages that BIO+ has over diesel are:-

• BIO+ is More Cost Effective
• BIO+ is alot better for the environment
• BIO+ burns Cleaner the diesel and there is no smog/black smoke
• BIO+ will help to clean the engine from the inside out leaving a better performing engine

Just been looking on the vegetableoildiesel forum and have found some posts that I am assuming are by you.
On the 7th June (same date as the post above) you were asking for advice re:problems with your biodiesel which seems curious given that you were telling this forum that all is perfect.

Another post was the thread where you were advertising your wares similalrly to this one. In this thread you stopped replying when you were asked to confirm your credentials, specifically when a member had searched for evidence of your environmental permit . This thread appears before the one above so you had been on the site since that date. With this in mind I would like to ask you why you haven't responded to the vegoildiesel members requests to prove you are legit.

I am near croydon and would love a supply of bio that is near me and decently priced.

If you can come up with the goods that people have asked for (particularly evidence of Environmental Permit) and all seems well then great and I will be the first to buy. If not then I know I'm going to check every other forum I'm a member of and let them know to watch for your posts. I'm guessing others may do the same.

deffo soap(anionic or otherwise) phosphorus,sulpher and its ph/small ionic acid content...what else could produce blue smoke,apart from old engine oil ??

at risk of sounding even more suspicious..... if a sample is to be tested could it not be from the tank of one of the punters known to the member on here who has been using the bio and is therefore a representative sample rather than one sent direct for testing that could (for arguments sake) be from anywhere?

Let's not forget that we have a long-standing member who says that it works for him - with no mention of blue smoke. It may just be a case of a good product and a slightly ill-advised marketing technique.

Mineral-based thinners and ethanol/methanol for a start. Surfactants - a lot of these are amines, so there is another avenue to explore, and relatively easy to test for.

Phosphorous - protein contamination, yes?

Animal fats? If the feedstock is used cooking oil then there may well be varying amounts of fats present, which present a QC problem for the process in removing them consistently (which might be the source of the smoke problems quoted in the first forum posting above).

If the animal fats are not removed prior to the reaction with methoxide, then you will end up with all sorts of by-products, especially if there is a significant amount of water present, because of the hydrolysis to alcohols and fatty acids (an unwanted side-reaction). (And let's face it, in a small scale operation, there is always going to be some water present, 'cos you're not operating at either the lab scale, where you can use anhydrous methanol, or at the industrial scale, where you can design the water removal into the process.

Also any glycerol not removed in post-reaction processing would probably have the same effect - essentially you would be burning a soap solution...

EN14214 addresses all these issues - it is the blueprint for checking biodiesel, but doing the full set would be a tad expensive.

my understanding is that water,soap,phosphorus,possibly trace elements cos they are free,but the above elmental ones would indicate whether or not its kosher.i will read up and pester you if necessary !!

When I got my first 25 litres of Biodiesel from Muj, his premises are a unit on an industrial estate in SW19 which won't be cheap. There are loads of containers of biodiesel with a massive stainless steel brewery looking type machine's which I presume is what prepares/processes the fuel.

surely you would not go to this large expense if you were going to make rubbish fuel!

how is everyone? Man, I wish that I had internet at my work place so that I could keep up with this, and shut certain people up as soon as they start talking.

YOu know what Bio, do you know what decency is, or how about some professional curtosy. We not all like you,some of us have work to do and can't sit around on our arses all day justing from one forum to another, posting, posting, posting and a little bit more posting.

First of all, if you read the post, you'll understand that it wasn't just me, it was my mates who were arsing around with mixes and something did go wrong and when they used it there was blue smoke. None of us knew what it was, and so I asked. Maybe yes, that I shouldn't have associated it with myself, but that was my mistake. what was nothing to do with me, but i really should not have asked for that help in that way.

also, regarding my Environment Permit, not that it's anything to do with you, but I do have one, but there are some issuse with it because those stupid, think as shit, over paid arses at the Enviro Agency ####ed up my paperwork. they have given me with a temp permit, but we talking to try and sort it out. and the reason why i didnt answer that post back was because, 1. its no ones business but mine, 2. i forgot all about that post because just after it i had a very serious thing with my wife, she was taken to hospital (and the rest it not anyones business). conpared to my wife, nothing else matters to me, not even that or any forum or anyones option.

right, gwh, yea i do have huge overhead, but I would not ever cut costs on my product to save money. by cutting costs it would leave me with a substandard product which one body would like to buy again. what is the point in that. I just want to forget about the last few month, and sort things alots of things out. I know that I have a good product, which people are going to like. i'm going to send that sample out to you tomorrow. also, if you like, i'm give you the details of other people who can vouch for the quality of my fuel. they are people who have used, or are using it.
