thread sealant for diesel

i'm looking for a thread sealant that will withstand diesel. i also want to be able to remove the fitting in the future. i have been told that PTFE thread tape will not withstand diesel. is this correct.

i have duel leaking past a thread on the overflow screw on my injection pump. although it leaks into the return fuel hose, it causes the pump to loose its prime, making it difficult to start.

any ideas?

PTFE worth a try or how bout some sort of thread loc stuff

Ptfe i used before 2 stop air leaks and water leaks
and wouldn't thought diesel wud rot it or anythin
if u use any sort of instant gasket suff just give it
a chance 2set before use ur truck

change the screw for a new one

the new screw is already on order, along with washers. in the meantime i'm looking for answers; to see if i can prevent the initial leak and to hopefully cure the poor starting.

if you have new stuff ordered the PTFE should hold until the new stuff arrives

Gas quallity PTFE or hermatite will resist derv

loctite 515 will seal against oil, diesel, water, air. basically anything thats not corrosive.
