  • Thanks Apache You Ruined My Diet

I've been going to become a member of Costco for ages but never got around to it, until I read Apaches post about cheaper(!) veggie oil.

Went down tonight with Laura and bought 40 litres but.......................... while I was there I was tempted by trays of lovely grub!

So now I'm eating 1 of the 12 massive choclate chip muffins I bought and then there's the 8 huge butter scones and the 3 slab cakes and the apple and raspberry flans......................... ....trouble is I've got no will power so the diets gone out of the window for this week.

    Get ye behind me satan!

Well I've paid the price for my pig like scoffing! I've been awake half the night with what I can only describe as excessive heartbeat. I thought my heart was going to pound out of my chest!

To much coffee, chocolate chip muffin and big buttery scone before bed wasn't a good idea. You'd think at my age I'd know better, don't let that old saying, 'Older and wiser', fool you! It ain't true!

Do you remember the self serve pumps where you'd put a one pound note in?

I remember my dad using them (Austin Maxi 1750) when I was a kid, somewhere around the New Forest. I also remember they had to be new, crisp pound notes otherwise the machine wouldn't accept them. I learnt a few cuss words that summer too.
