Fuel prices and surfs

Does anyone think the fuel prices rising all the time is affecting the overall value of the surf in a big way, seen this on ebay gen2 3.0l at under a grand and seen some other very cheap surfs about.

Buy it,{1000} lift it, stick 33s on it {800) and sell on for a wee profit{2500}. Not bad for a days work {700}

It would go back up with new wheels, tyres and suspension, should sell easy.
