Ok, so there's no direct replacement for my tyres in a metric size as it would be a 241X79R15.
Does that mean that if I were unlucky enough to get 2 punctures, I'm not going to be able to source a tyre at the usual places (ATS Kwik-fit, RAC) and would be off the road untill one arrives from the internet?
Should I be on the lookout for some metric rims? or am I worrying about nothing?
you're worrying about nothing mate, most tyre places will get you a 30x9.50 same day, just might not actually carry it in stock
Ok, I'll relax then
I just got worried after spending an hour on the phone being unable to get hold of a part-worn and then trying the local place for a new tyre and being told it was something he couldn't get hold of.
So in actual fact when the existing tyres start to wear, I could replace them with metric tyres, just so long as its an axle set without engaging 4wheel drive or just replace the whole lot if going 4X4.
