3rd Gen console thingy

Does anyone know about these little things??

We have one in Nina's truck, and I've taken it to bits....it's corroded inside, and there is a space for a battery....when switched on, it flashed for a minute or so, then stays just orange....

Anyone know what the battery is that I need so I can get one ordered from Maplin - then I'll clean it all out with contact cleaner and see what happens.....

Could be - what's a Liquid Crystal Display Display???

When I first put the power to it (it had been disconnected for some time) there was a vertical bar in the display, which I think is correct - I'll have another go at cleaning it all up tomorrow and see how I get on...
