How do you tell ?

Hi folks
I've jut got my first Surf, its a 96 P 3 litre SSRX LTD, I would like to put an A bar on it, I have been looking around and I have few questions.
Will an A bar from a 2.4 fit and how do you tell what gen the car is?

Your's is i think a 3rd gen, 2nd gen A bar wont fit without some fabbing of bracket's etc, Oh! and welcome to the nuthouse

don't think the a bar will fit without some fettling




oh - the 3rd gens are better as well

Thanks for that, people, the tail gate lifts up so its a 3rd gen. Does anyone on here have an A bar that will fit and that they are selling of course?

I'm sure either Da Slug Man or Joker had a good 3rd gen one for sale a few months back. Can't remember if it sold or not. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to remind me!
