I hate that stuff!! Smells horrible. Useful... sometimes! Not so much anymore thank god, messy sh!t!!!!

Yup it was sorted, i was wrong, it turned out to be backflow though a faulty mixer tap on a dishwasher (no check valve on the hot side)
