  • Sleeping?

HI - Is it possible to get the back of a hiluxSURF setup so that you can sleep in it comfortably?
Are there any pics about or better still plans - I saw one on an auction site in NZ but haven't had much other luck
    Cheers

I've always found that the drivers seat itself is comfy enough for me, but this airbed sounds like a good idea! I had tried a normal mattress but it was slightly too long and the sides curled up as if you were laying in a trench.

I slept in the back for the two nights in wales! sleept like a baby! a drunk baby but a baby none the less!

removed the base of the back seats only 4 bolts! and it gives plent of space for a doubble air bed.

Are you aware that what you've just admitted to is illegal and carries a minimum 6 month driving ban?

Yep. Drunk in charge of a motor vehicle. Even if it was a proper Motor Home, it's illegal.

A mate of mine was done for sleeping in the back of his car rather than drive it home whilst drunk, so long as it's a publically accessible area and the keys are inside the vehicle, it's illegal.
