My "ute" passed its mot yesterday, mega chuffed now, although a suprise £11.75 bill for fixing the horn, which I know was working, wasn't exactly welcome. Just taxed it on-line, ready for the summer.
.....and then it turned blue, and dropped off!!!

Hi, I'll post some pics soon, my computer at home is knackered, but am getting a new one at the weekend, (on work computer at the mo)

Just to give you a taster though, this was taken a couple of weekends ago on Rali Bro Teifi http://www.studio-86.co.uk/studio86/...540_large.html

Some nice old metal in that event.
Both myself and my brother have had some nice MK1 and 11 escorts over the years, my fav was a MK1 RS and my last was a very nice MK11 1600 sport.
One of my very first cars was the flared arch MK1 escort in Black, but it was stolen before I ever got it on the road.
One of my mates from way back then had the Lotus Sunbeam in it's day that was one quick car.

Looking forward to your pics mate.

Still a quick car, even by today's standard. Mine is quick enough for me, it's got a fairly good spec pinto, 4 speed close ratio gearbox, and an LSD. Hasn't failed to put a smile on my face yet, although the wallet is feelin the pinch, the way it goes through rear tyres, but hey, there is always a price to pay when your enjoying yourself.
