      completly friggin useless at the mo tho as the cooler i fitted leaked all over the place and the old A/C rads too big, (thats the one from under the dash btw)which is why i bought the bmw one, it's long and thin and'll fit in the front nicely,

          You can, but its hard work, I tend to agree with steve for here in the UK, AFT fluid gets stupidly hot, stupidly quick when driving even vaguly quickly, let alone towing and offroading, so cooling it should be your No1 priorty.



          Fit gauges on the ATF lines like Ian has, and go for a test drive in your local conditions and see what happens is the only way to know for sure.

          Toyota say 70-80 deg is normal operating temp, and at least 50 before you start messing about testing things.

          We have a stand alone B&M Supercooler, and the ATF no longer goes through the rad at all and things seem fine.
