Give chris a bell to see what he's doing. We usually go A580-A570 Ormskirk then cut through the back roads

      • Well the weather here in St Annes, which is only a stones throw away as the crow flies, is looking good. Pity that despite the fact I can almost see the beach from home I still have a 40+mile journey to get there. Wish they'd hurry up and build a bridge over the Ribble.

Anyway, see you all this afternoon.

Sorry to hear of the news Bob...hope all get well!

Boy, was it blustery out there today and the trouble now is I'm looking like a cooked prawn as the sun did come out but you couldn't feel the sun due to the wind coming in off the water.

Nice to speak to some of the 'new folk' that joined us for the day, just hope the weather didn't spoil it for you.

                • Yea, great to meet all of you today and put names to faces.
Weather wasn't too bad, a bit windy but still sunny and it didnt spoil my day.
Hope to get together with some of you in August for a bit of OR and then the Blackpool luminations in November (I think)

                  Whos got the pics?

it only took me nearly 2 hours to find the right spot.

southport beach south of the pier? yeah right
4 miles south of southport beach in another village would have been a better description, still it was nice to meet you all, shame the wind was a pain as it stopped everone getting together for a good chat, food and drink.
