Just been having a proper look at that list. The English is way too understandable. They have the gist, but have buggered the specifics. (Ne'er heard some of those sayings round this way either).
But, plus side, it's given me a crappy excuse for being a git - quote:

Me neither. The one about living over the broom was just like hearing the mother-in-law again before I married our lass. The look she used to give me when she said it.
