Anyone wanna have a fuel pump party?
Hi all, haven't been on here in a while, but I was wondering if anyone with a bit of 2.4TD technical aptitude wanted to help me out with checking my fuel pump for leaks. The reason I suspect it to be leaking is that I have a small section of clear hose on the filter outlet which appears to be forming an air bubble in it, and since newtons laws of gravity forbid the diesel from climbing out of the top, it must therefore be leaking out of the bottom.
If TonyN is doing work again (hint hint), I could bring it out to you one weekend with a tent coz i suspect it may take more than a day, or maybe not if you know what you're doing, which frankly I don't.
So, don't be shy people, I'll get the seal kit and have bacon butties on standby (nut cutlets will be available for any veggies that wanna help out) and coffee n tea will be complimentary all day long.
