Recommendations please.......

for suppliers of 2.5" (63mm) exhaust tube and components. The best I've found so far is Jetex, but the parts I need add up to £95 and thats not including any silencers!

I need:
2 or 3 metres of straight pipe.
Two 45 degree bends.
Two 90 degree bends.
A two into one collector.

Jetex was where I got some mild steel bits for my side exhaust. They seemed about best when I was looking.

Bushy, Did you want Stainless ? there is a stockholder in my next village I have priced up Stainless De~Cats for Sora imports 2.5" o/d is £12 a metre he does all relevant bends also its t309 grade one down from food grade if this helps I can send you his details and your zorst will last for ever.

i used jetex and used my old back box £85 in all, have you done your headers?

More expensive than Jetex.

I'm using the stock headers, as they're the only type that fit in the Surf's engine bay.

Silly question possibly, but have you delved in your local factors? I know one of ours has a box or two which they just chuck exhaust joins/couplers in, and let you broddle through.

There number is 01553 764120 if you mention you have spoken to Dave Webster at Mars I'm sure they will be very helpfull the only thing will be delivery, maybe we could do some sort of relay run to deliver things for each other or maybe I'm going mad....Off to bed in mo as back to work tomorrow if you need any more info let me know as I said he quoted me £12 a metre for 2.5 O/D it may be special price for me as I spend a lot with him through my work. If you cant get it for that price if needs be I will get it for you and you can pay what it costs me............

Could be a good idea, if we give it a go, need some bright spark to see where members are based and do some sort of linking map, lets face it we all love driving our Surfs dont we ? I will be up for it.
