9 litres = 2 gallons
@ c. 20mpg = roughly 40 miles
- make sure you got some diesel in a jerry can though if you're gonna tempt fate=========

and buy some injector cleaner and a new fuel filter after you've filled the fuel line with bottom of the tank bilge.....

As already said, in theory it's roughly 10ltrs, or just over 2 gallons. But I've found that as the gauge isn't exactly the most accurate one on the world that I have a practical range of less than 20miles. If you wish to explore the limits, carry some spare fuel. I've carried a 20ltr Jerry can ever since finding myself half way up a mountain with the light shining accusingly in my eyes.
