I have got another surf (thanks to Diezel Weazel and the parting of cash) and want to take the better bits off mine and put them on the replacement,

Too start with the new one has hand wind Windows and the old one has electric...what's the easiest way of swapping? the eletric bits over

By the way they are the same age and colour

Easiest way... might be to swap the doors over. But you've also got the wiring loom, and I suspect that there may be a control box somewhere. If you're lucky the loom will be in place and you just need to plug the bits in.

Mine has manual windows and locking, there is no loom in place for this, and no control box. the box sits above the internal fuse box, the wires are flippin everywhere....
