insurance Query

have insured one of my trucks [£320with bell 9 years ncb]they wont insure modified trucks so with the modified truck i went to adrian flux [£366]but they tell me thats with the ncb which is only available for one of the truck ,
is this true that the ncb can only cover one vehicle ??,
if i cancel with bell it will cost me £58 and adrian flux wants £388
so it will work out rather expensive does anyone know a way around this ???

I think it's usual for the NCD to be applied to only one of your vehicles.

£366 seems a lot. I'm with Express at £268 fully comp with low excess and 9 years NCD.
'm swapping over to Flux soon though because they are cheaper and will cover future mods to my truck.

A joint policy with a spouse each of you using NCD's on either truck perhaps.

my dads insured all 4 of our vehicles through a broker and his ncd is applied to all four vehicles on seperate policies.

I am with sureterm,
It is true as far as I know that the ncb is only valid for 1 vehicle, but sureterm
don't use ur ncb at all as it is a specialist insurance.
So my 8 nearly 9 years ncb are available for another car or truck.

I pay £388 for the year inc. annual greencard, green laning, towing etc..
I am only 26 so that is not bad at all.

think you'll find they do what they like, got 2 in my name ncd taken into consideration on both.

A few years back had my bike insurance loaded due to claim on my car insurance for theft from the car. Did try to explain it was unlikely to have anything stolen from within as it was a bike and also the bike is garaged where as the car was on the street.
