    To be read out Harry Hill style...

    I'm looking over the workshop manual for the truck, and it says to remove the steering idler, use SST......what is SST????

            yea a set of sockets,spanners and a very large hammer.oh and some bandaids.what they are propably on about is a ball joint splitter.

                  To undo the clip (assuming you're talking about the same clip I'm thinking of), either use some spanners and straighten the clip, or just use a bigger hammer to force the nut and snap the clip.

                    Well, I'm awapping the nearly new one from the 2 door onto the 'drives like wild animal' one from the 4 door..... don't want to break anything...
