whats the difference in the 2? apart from 1 has oil in and 1 has gas in, and which 1 is better?

Gas shocks are better.... I believe the main advantage is just heat dissipation
Pro comp ES9000's are gas an the ES3000's are oil

I think it's the other way around, better performance from gas shocks, and my ES9000's are gas.
