Ive joined vwaudiforums. co.uk and posted in the welcome section for new members 72 hours ago, there are 40,000 members 100-200 are online at any one time, so here is the warm welcome i got after 3 days:

Pitiful show of friendliness, he is one of the mods who replyed but thats it. I may come here for technical help for my audi cos these guys dont seem to have any better a knowledge than i do about these cars.

Unless you have a specific Audi problem, I guess a lot of things are quite general, and can be solved anywhere. As for your problem, the bushes on my Vectra have gone (I think all of them), I put the knocking noise down to some metal I have in the boot, but now you mention it, it'll be the suspension lol. I'm getting it checkout out next week before I sell it anyway.

Know how you feel mate, had the same reply on a couple of "other" forums i joined, needless to say i dont go back often, they make ya feel about as welcome as a turd in a swimming pool no place like home eh mate!

Just a bunch of like minded people with roughly the same warped sense of humor, many of these "forums" take themselves far too seriously, when ya frist sign on to this site ya soon know if it's your cup of tea or not, seen some join, take the wisecracks the wrong way and dissapear, aus site is about the same as here, yotatec, not bad, (american sense of humor slightly different to us where as the aussies are the same as us) if ya cant laugh at yourself you've no right laughing at anyone else, 12volt, KA, car forums!!! forget it, only joined the ka to find out how the clock was wired, you'd have thought i was asking for the secret of turning lead into gold, ended up vince gave me the info,

I think it's because there is a group of about 30 or so really nice (god that sounds lame............cool may sound better) regulars here that welcome everyone and are willing to help new members, and they aint full of sht to boot. No one on here brags or really slates (maybe on odd occasions when a rouge joins) peeople for their different tastes.

You always know if you have a prob - someone here will either be able to help, sell (or a freebie) you one or point you in the right direction so it won't cost the earth.

When it comes down to it, don't really matter what colour ya got as long as MUD covers it !!!!
