veg oil help

i know this a surf forum but wonder if my mate can get help here he has a citron bx i think thats the model he thinks it has a lucas desiel pump and had been told the veg oil will damage it any feed back will be much apprichated ..

well i had a xanta same engine just the bx is a little smaller
i ran mine on pure veg for mounths to see if it did any damage
it did nothing at all
no differance in peformance
just keep the veg oil to a min in cold weather

dude... think i mentionses this sosmehwere eklse on forum when i weas actually sober. but lucas pumps don't handle veg oiil well.


bosch ok for veg ,lucasx not being what i've read on other sitreds and such
