    Ford Everest/Endeavour

Ford have finaly done to the Ranger what Toyota did to the Hilux - has taken them a good long while! Spookily so.

    Guess its better than this...

Is that Toyota for real? It's utterly disgusting!
The Ford looks very similar to the Explorer which has shared the same platform as the Ranger since about '90 or '91.

The Toyota Qualis is made in the Philippines and is actually the original Tamaraw FX model with a few unfortunate decorations. The FX might not be very good-looking but it's Toyota's best seller ever, and the original 'Asian Utility Vehicle'. It comes in all sorts of versions; taxi, van, minibus, pickup, chassis cab, luxury 4x4 SUV, and is sold in most of Asia and Africa with almost as many names as there are versions.... Tamaraw, Mega-taxi, Revo (Philippines), Qualis (India), Unser (Malaysia), Kijang (Indonesia), Xace (China), Zace (Taiwan & Vietnam), Condor (Africa & Australia).

One odd thing about it is that although the design has been updated many times the original model which came out in the late '70's is still being made alongside the new models.

This is the current Philippines model....
