if your after speed with comfort try a toyota 2.5 twin turbo soarer or alternitivly a V8 4 ltr soarer both will leave most cars (other than super cars) standing at the lights both can be had with sun roofs (air con is std fitting). both can be bought for well under your budget, the trouble with rag tops is the ease with which they can be broken in to or vandalised, have a look on the lexus soarer owners club, its a big barge but its quick and different looking from the rest cross between a supra and an aston.

Yes, convertibles are easily broken into and vandalised. But so is any car. To break through the roof of a convertible you need a sharp object (not too uncommon unfortunately). To break into every other car on the street, you need a rock.Paul </Slugsie>

i have a grin on my face as soon as i sit in my soarer , going round corners i'm laughing ,the trouble is once in it i just want to keep driving it, if your after the type of driving you seem to be alluding to, get hold of a mgb roadster drop head, posy and slow.
