thanks for all the good wishes guys.its early days yet,but ive just got to give it a go.if it works then all is well and good if not ive always got my engineering background to fall back on.im hoping to offer anything from winch bumpers to full on body and chassis mods.im also offering a drive in fitting service to.one of the things im working on is a coil over front axle set up for the surf.so get yer bits down on a list and get your thinking caps on if you want something a little different than the rest.
Best of luck to you.
Ran my own business for a while and it was great. A few tips:
- Don't take s**t from customers. Be nice, but they'll walk all over you given half the chance.
- Learn to say 'no' -- that was my biggest problem.
Apart from that, all the fabricators I know are doing well for business.
give us a job then...i can erm...make the coffee (badly), give you ideas based on ultra modern technology (thats not been invented on earth yet - i seen it on a few of my mate's space ships) and i could scare off potential nuisance customers by telling them what my psycotherapist told his psycotherapist about the patient he had with some very strange ideas.

as many of you know ive been toying with going it alone and starting a business doing what i love and that is fabrication.an oppertunity has arisen and im gonna go for it.so if anyone wants anything for their trucks just let me know.for full off road fabrication from mild to extreme.
Excellent news!
The only problem I see though is you'll have to buy your own steel and pay for the electric you use.
