the plan is to remove the window from the tail gate.fab up a bottom lip into the top section and silicone it in place,then use the outer trim piece to er..... trim it and bring the ally step plate up to the bottom of the window.

bwahahahahaha,tony remember i said that top bit wouldnt fit...... well i discovered it does if you remove all of the strengthening from it and just leave the skin.so that its a bit flexible.as you can see from the pic it now fits a treat.
