Well as if my life ain't complicated enough at the moment, now I've noticed a rather large water stain on the cieling of the kitchen extension ( flat roof above) I'll have to get up there and have a look see.

At the moment it just seems like trying to run under water, trying real hard, but just getting nowhere.
The harder I try, th more sh1t gets flung at me.

this happens to me often enough. the only way i get through situations like this is say to youself bring it on...
it might get a little bit worse but very soon it will get better. i find if i keep thinking things like 'what next' etc, then something bad does happen. but if i just deal with it as it comes it sort of smooths out.

Chin up Plumb Bob, I had exactly the same and down the wall after a lot of rain, nipped up with the black tarry stuff and roofing felt and it was fixed in a jiffy. Then a lick of paint and good as new. Just see any problem that crops up as a challenge that's not gonna get the better of you. As Dieselboy says, BRING IT ON!

Thanks for the thoughts guys, you know what it's like when these things happen, you just kinda sink to your knees mentally, then you have to take a deep breathe, and pick yourself up and take it on the chin.

Hi Rob know how you feel i had 1 battery drawing the other 1 down had to jump start my surf but jump leads were wrong way round blew something on my surf but did not know what got some money and replaced the duff battery had surf looked at and i had blown the 100 amp fuse from the alternater thoght great ... a few weeks later had bad wheel wobble went had tyers ballenced they found 1 tier had a bulge in the tred got a secondhand tire..just after that rear box went they found the second box had some holes starting in it as well sheeeeeeeeeeeeeh had that done the last week then had cam belt light come on as surf had done 200.000 klm so had to replace everything all this happened in less than 2 months thyen last week grean house was blown from 1 end of the garden to the other
