I've got no smilies

I have lost my smilies ! I have no smilies to add to the treads etc . I was round Jottos tonight and he has them so where are mine ?
I used to have them on the old Forum , I lost them when it updated the other week . Jotto's appear on the right of the page as he writes a thread . I only have the one shown on the task bar above the message I am writting .

Iv'e seen thatv but it does not stay on screen perminant like Ive seen at Jotto's . His is there all the time and he can pick a smilie without having to do the drop down .

I'm wondering if it is a setting on the set up in my Control panel needs adjusting ?

no, thats because he has clicked on the box at the bottom and it opens them in a new window, try it

Laura & I use the same computer ,so as full members everything should be the same. Before the last update we had a problem with posting smilies exactly as you describe. But I think that the smilies to the side of your post is a sign of something wrong with the set-up.
When Lucky sorted ours we both ended up with the drop-down box from the top.
Don't like it tho' it's not as user friendly (smilie wise) as the older versions.

I did down load Smilie Central on my old computer about a month ago . BIG mistake it let a virus in the computer and locked it up . My brother in law also downloaded Smilie Central and the same happened .
But he does get good porn sites now !!

I will not do it again .

Yes I did find the drop down box , but it is not as it was before new Forum .
