  • Paj what to look for

OK I know this is the wrong site but you guys are so helpful. My mate has always wanted a Pajero(I do not kow why either) but what should he look for when buying.?? I tried to extoll the virtues of SURFDOM but it has fallen on deaf ears

My dad bought a Paj....it broke! I'm getting a Surf

I would direct your friend to this thread so he can read for himself once some replies are posted, as I expect there will be a few pics of Paj's in various situations attached here. If he's not listening to his ears, maybe his eyes will convince him.

Main thing to do when looking at a Pajero is walk past it and keep looking for a Surf

            Paj's get stuck in puddles

            Surfs pull them out

Hehehe, got to agree, when looking at a Paj, look for the Toyota towing it

Seriously though, just check the same stuff as a surf, they are built on a similar design criteria, and to do the same job, I think there is a sticky some where on buying a surf, just follow the same rules.

I know this is a surf forum but I have to say every so often a gem of another vehicle appears - I am talking about 1 car, not ALL of em here

Ask the Yeti about Ian's Paj, now that is a GREAT car for the money, but before you get the gallows out Ian did only pay £50 for it !!!!!!

So if your mate can get one for less than £100 then go for it, otherwise aim him at surfs

                          i bought a 2.4 surf. my mate bought a 2.8 pajero.

in my surf, we were always comfortable, and never got stuck off road. everything inside the truck and out always worked. and even when its muddy it looks nice.

in the pajero we always got stuck. and we were uncomfortable doing it. the pajero was always slower for some reason.

he no longer has a pajero anymore. he has settle for something better... a fiesta haha, and this isnt a joke. although it should be
