                    the season here can be very unpredictable.

                    ie: great snow but high winds = no access.

                    no winds but thin snow = no sliding.

                    what can be guaranteed is the pubs will be open.

                          But that don't matter cos when the snow aint there the dry slopes are. Not great but not too bad after a few sherberts.

                            but you can find snow in Glencoe with easy access, about an 1hr 20mins from Stirling which is central scotland.

                              Glencoe was loaded with snow too but the low cloud base had us driving a bit further to Nevis
