we should have a surf run to the snow next year, combined with snowboarding/skiing/snow tubing (for the oldies) and beer drinking.

Only ever been on skis once and that wasn't yesterday. i fancy the tubing ( even if i dont know what it is) or i'll bring my sledge The beer.......i could handle!!!!!!

you try gettin Sally into a tent!!!! spent many nights in a tent at motor bike rallies in the 80's, usually up in the pennines and around Matlock baths but cold wasnt a prob due to the substances used

Ha ha ha - sayin that don't think hubby would be up for a tent either.Me I wuld love it. Hve to fine a cabin of sorts. Need somewhere to store the beer anyway....

If you do, count me in, that was the place i learn't to snowboard on new years eve 2002. Went from fort william to loch Shiel to claim my land but there was just a shop and that was closed.
On a more serious note, if you were to do a Run To The Snow, I'm in!!
