Snowy pics from thursday the 13th march

I went snowboarding with my mate Stevo. We headed up to Nevis range at Fort William.

It was epic. It was alpine.


IT WAS SCOTLAND!

the plateau at the top was breathtaking, awesome huge windlips over the back face.
I couldn't get too close, very dangerous, 30-40 ft overhangs ready to avalanche off down into the valley.

That looks awesome - I have just come back from payin a fortune for a lot less snow than that, maybe we should try Scotland instead - how is it for Ski's?

more skiers than boarders, all that for £20 day ticket, lucky if 50 people were on the hill all day.

Have to come up next year - get a few of us an come for a long weekend. Never realsied there were places like that in the UK.

we should have a surf run to the snow next year, combined with snowboarding/skiing/snow tubing (for the oldies) and beer drinking.
