trev do you want me to come up sometime and we can flush the system out ?
it can't be done here, as BD2 will testify I live in a block of flats and there isn't any room also they don't allow working on cars in the car park (I get away with the veg refill)
Get it to Woodzies (some how) he will sort it for you, he is an expert on taking front end out. But he will probably break loads of other stuff whilst doing it........
if we can quickly find a spot to do it (before major damage occurs) lets get it done.any thoughts of where ? we can do it back of my house or my bro in law can do it in his barn
def a no go at yours lol,wot exactly r her symptoms?
Around xmas she overheated on way back from Salisbury
I found that I was able to run her ok if kept to around 60 or not under load (fins mud cacked on rad), late last week she lost top gear, thought it was a one off, as it came back.
Yesterday it lost top again and got warm (kept it out of the red) so took her to garage today who found a lack of ATF . They replaced that and said I got top back - ho hum no top when I got on M25, between 9 & 8 due to traffic conditions (30 aint speeding before anyone says so) she got almost to the red so pulled over and switched off to let her cool down for 30 mins (checked rad for water at before going).
After that I got top gear and just had a minor temp rise when on the Balcombe road approaching the cowdray arms. I got home and left her for 90 mins and found water had gone done.
She got a service and MOT booked for just after easter, she only has 5 trips to chertsey left before that (working here for 2 days)
