not two minutes ago had some bad news concerning the surf.i had the chance today, to put it in for an mot, but i knew it wasnt ready.i decided to put it in any way to see if it would need more bundles of cash spent on it.well after the rather extensive failure report im not sure if i can justify spending anymore on it

track rod end !!!

18 quid from the local motor factors,i have so abused this thing and all it fails on is an 18 quid track rod end.i get the (free) retest tomorrow.how the hell do these things take so much abuse and just keep going.

please note this last comment does not apply to woodzie,for whom tougher vehicles are available,ie,challenger tanks

ARB Bushes aren't an isue, just take them off. Split CV boot is fixed with superglue (in the tester's car park)
