  • Clear 3rd gen lights from Roughtrax

Am thinking of getting these clear lights for my 3rd gen:

    http://www.roughtrax4x4.com/?doc=16&cid=728&vid=900

    http://www.roughtrax4x4.com/?doc=16&cid=731&vid=760

    http://www.roughtrax4x4.com/?doc=16&cid=729&vid=901

Anyone got them? If so are they:

    a) Any good - i.e last longer than 6 months
    b) Legal
    c) Going to pass the MOT

and finally z) Easy to fit

    Thank You!

the ebay lights apparently are no good as they let water in and buggar the electrics and they aint EU stamped either.I would personally go to roughtrax and know they are decent to start with

Got Vicki's from eBay 2 years ago for £50. Look as good as new now, are E-marked, and dont leak.

The only thing that concerns me is the clear indicators he has state on the listing that they are E-marked and road legal but the rear lights don't say

                              hey

I have fitted the last 2 of the clear lights listed. Both were from roughtrax because I couldn't find the bumper indicators for the right year on ebay and i drive past their door on my way home from work.

Both are easy to fit, couple of screws holding in each bumper indicator then remove the bulb and twist the bulb holder out the back - reverse to fit.

Sides are even easier - I slid a credit card up the side, this pushes the lug and the old one will pop off, remove and fit new bulb and push the new one on!!

                              Good luck
