The Steel Wheels gives the finish of tinted lenses , but silver would be brighter

I might just do that then instead of sending my lenses back and paying more

Off to Halfrauds i will go tomorrow to get some silver paint

Lenses and side repeaters arrived today . Good quality . Removed the front indicator units and gave the inside a couple of coats of Steel Wheels aerosol to cover the orange of the original units . The Steel Wheels gives the finish of tinted lenses , but silver would be brighter .Orange bulbs supplied with lenses.
Side repeaters come with the orange bulbs aswell and units fitted perfectly. 2nd gen lights fit 3rd gen aswell.
So if you want to spend £25 inc P&P more for complete front lamps and not just the lenses thats fine , but for 10 mins work and a bit of spare paint you get the same result and some extra beer tokens in your pocket . So I'm off down pub to use mine tonight .

the ones TonyN sells are good quality, seem pretty much the same as standard, but clear... fitted to mine in the pics on 4x4toys.co.uk

took literally 2 minutes to fit.

I ordered clear 2nd gen ones as Roughtracks part number is the same for 2nd and 3rd gen.

I have also ordered the lenses (after not reading listing properly and failing to notice they were just lenses) and have the inner orange glow in my indicator

I live over near Downham so pop round with the silver spray would ya..i'll make you a nice cuppa while you do it lol

I live in Emneth and work in Welney so either you pop up to Emneth or I will go to Downham . I finish work at 3-30 so can be at yours for 4-00 ish .

I took a lens off the front today and I have orange reflector/bulb holder . Clear lenses never turned up but at least I know I need to paint the insides silver.
