Description

There is a new opportunity that has arisen primarily managing specific projects in the provision of new capability and ongoing service delivery for deployed systems and capability. Must have knowledge of Prince 2 or equivalent. Must be a member of the ISS Contingency Planning Team for Specific Operations and have experience of Planning and implementation of IS projects in the deployed environment. Duties will include maintaining day to day contact with SYNERGY team and contingent Operations, Managing Project and sustainment funding and liaise with military customers and contractors on service management and project issues

I'll put my serious head on for a minute .......

Given the skills they've requested and the fact that it's a contract post the rate is actually leaning towards the cheap end of the marketplace !

My company would charge around £7-800 a day to fill that post ........

And yes they DO get business at that rate too - if I'd got more guts I'd go solo and charge at least £400 a day and I'm just a generalist rather than a specialist
