Can I ask why you need the engine number, the chassis and model number is usually all that's needed for ordering parts.

Japanese motors don't have a VIN number as such, just a model and chassis number - has less numbers than the equivilent UK car. The number is both on the plate on the bulkhead and also on the chassis rail under the front offside wheelarch.
