First of all on behalf of my daughter i would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and good wishes im sure that when she is able she will respond personally . I have just returned from the hospital and have had to feed her her dinner ( last time i did that was 34 years ago and she was just as messy then ) she is awake more now but not making a lot of sense sometimes but its very early days yet . She will get better shes like her dad doesnt like lying in hospital beds. They have decided that the bleed was minor and they are not going to operate. Its just a matter of time now and she sleeps a lot and they say sleep is a great healer. I will not post any further bulletins as i will leave that to Tony as he and I are in touch daily and if he lets you all know whats happening it leaves me to look after her .
Sarah has been able to sit in her chair since yesterday for a while, she is being read your posts on these threads (horse forum and here) and is really enjoying that - she is amazed at the amount of good wishes!
She was able to give her dad orders about the horses yesterday, and to eat her meals with minimal assistance.
Just had a long chat with Mo tonight, round Sassy's house as her dad is staying there for a week or so, progress is still slow, she has good wakings and confused wakings still, but the Lucid wakings are getting more regular and longer.
Best news is this afternoon he called me from the room, and put Sassy on, we had a nice couple of mins chat about the horses, and stuff, she's every so appriciative of everyones well wishes, and says thanks. Mo didn't tell her who he rang, and she recognised me straight away.
She tired quickly but it was lovely to hear her voice and chat, even just for a minute.
Can't wait till we get the chance to see her again, but that'll be hopefully when ever Sassy decides she's ready, don't want to badger mum to much or her and its their decision as she's still quite fragile ATM and must also respect hospital rules, as they might get the hump as well.
Probably going to get boring to read in the following days, but very slow but steady progress is the order of the day still, and lots of day to come. There is no hurry.
