Latest Update
First of all on behalf of my daughter i would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and good wishes im sure that when she is able she will respond personally . I have just returned from the hospital and have had to feed her her dinner ( last time i did that was 34 years ago and she was just as messy then ) she is awake more now but not making a lot of sense sometimes but its very early days yet . She will get better shes like her dad doesnt like lying in hospital beds. They have decided that the bleed was minor and they are not going to operate. Its just a matter of time now and she sleeps a lot and they say sleep is a great healer. I will not post any further bulletins as i will leave that to Tony as he and I are in touch daily and if he lets you all know whats happening it leaves me to look after her .
Once again thanks all for your concern

We've had a long conversation with Sarah's dad (Motrav on here) this afternoon. She has woken up today, has been able to drink some water with assistance, has responded to requests to move specific parts of her body, and is able to understand what is being asked of her, which are all good signs. She has not spoken properly yet, other than to vaguely ask about Hector (Her horse,
), but that may well be due to her very sore throat from all the tubes.
It will take some time for the sedation drugs to woke their way out of her system, and she will need a significant period to recover.
She has been moved out of intensive care onto a specialist neurological ward this afternoon and is likely to be moved back to a hospital nearer home sometime next week if she continues to progress well. Her dad will be staying at Sarah's house for the next week or so, and will be taking care of the dogs. Sam is staying with her mum.
This evenings extra update..
In a nutshell, she's been awake for about a half hour (longest time yet), has spoken to sam on phone, she seems to swinging between almost normal and very disorietated but has had proper food and drink and is now asleep for the night.
