I was on a real bad cross wind landing coming from Edinburgh to Belfast City on an BA ATP.

It absolutely terrified me and I have often thought, "why the **** do pilots take off in such weather?"

Kudos to the pilot though, he got it down with a few bumps along the airstrip.

I really thought that my time had come!

I have not flown since and very much doubt I ever will again!

It's not that unusual, so its probably a similar one on youtube.

Kai Tek was famous for it, there's loads of 747s doing the same thing on youtube trying to land there.

I was on a 777 which took 3 goes to get down at DFW during one of their summer storms. It was a real rollercoaster of a ride, and the cabin stunk of sweat when we were getting off! Thumbs up to our BA pilots, those guys are the best!
