was due to visit my sister and her new baby in Aberdeen and take Mrs Slug for a bit of shopping...
arrived at heathrow, parked the car nice and early, got the bus to terminal 1... tried the "E-Check-in" machines, but no joy... maybe a bit too early (0630) the flight wasn't till 0840... went to the desk to ask...
FLIGHT CANCELLED!!!!
well, thanks for letting us know!!
offered another flight at 3pm or one from Gatwick (like it's just round the corner!!)
no point going for a weekend if you're not gonna get there till 5pm at the earliest on saturday!!
and it's all down to me to chase around and try to get all my costs refunded... which i doubt will ever happen!
