Happy but well embarassed.
I have got my first surf from one of our members today.
Nice bloke.
Took the dog out for a drive to see how she got on in the back without a dog guard. The dog decided she preferred the back seat!!!
As i was parked up I thought I would have a word with her. whilst chatting with the dog (as you do) my knee was against the high & low gearstick.
You guessed it, I knocked it into neutral. Went to pull away and it would not go anywhere. I could not work out what had happened & thought the gear box was knackered. In the end I rang the previous owner & he talked me through what I had done. Yes I know I am a muppet!!!

When i had my 'old reliable range rover' snigger..... i used that as a sort of vehicle immobliser..
if some hood tried to steal it, well he might get it started but with the second gearbox in neutral its going nowhere..... unless he figures it out
