  • Auto trader.

I have just been looking on auto trader.
How come lets say 1000 miles on a j can be priced at £1500 & some one put a similar one up for £ 3000. With the same condition truck?

Because you should NEVER EVER pay £3000 for a 2.4. £1500 is probably top whack.

They're worth whatever you're willing to pay for them. Some sellers have unreasonable expectations, granted, but if you see one you want and you're happy with the price, then that's all that really matters.

            Whoaaaa... deep...

Nah, a 2.4 is £1500 at best, however you cut it

I wouldn't pay more than £3k for any 2nd gen now 3rd gens start around that money.

<edit> Yeah, but BDT, you got a free Mk1 escort bumper attached to the bottom of your valance, thats gotta be worth a bit!

A side effect of being at gutter level usually.

It's worth what it's worth. That's a personal decision as well as being relevant to general pricing trends.

Hey BDT2, that picture of your truck has been posted more times than a chain letter mate! Do you have a hotkey on your keyboard that posts the link automatically?
