      Yeah, wind the bars down until the adjuster thread JUST disappears into the nut, then its slack enough for a gorilla with a pry bar to be able to lift the top wishbone enough to get the spacer in

            Dont go too hard with the hammer, the spacers are aluminium remember!

            You'll need your grinder to grind the lip off the top wishbone. You'll see it when you get going.

              Is there a notch on the spacers like in the crawler pics.
              Is this a water drain? does it go to the bottom?

                  Yes, goes to the bottom. It seems to be both a water drain (though I'm gonna turn some nylon 'plugs' to prevent build up of crud) and a handy notch to clear the grease nipples as you slide the spacers in.
