Making Front Diff Spacers

Im told 1 inch is max really on front diff, so what i want to know is does the diff just pivot down on the front mounting, whilst the other 2 get spaced or do i have to concoct a drop bracket aswell?

well i hope its raining heavy at the clog and your hubs are stiff That way when i press my little button from my nice warm cab i can get going whilst looking in my rear view mirror at the wet guy trying to turn his manual hubs.
