  • Lift kits in the US

Ok, this one is for our US friends on this site....

I am looking for a 2" suspension lift and a 2" bodylift to get some 33" BFG M/T's on.
Can anyone recommend good suppliers of these kits in the US including tires.
I have a friend who is getting a container shipped over shortly, and it seems like an ideal opportunity to not miss!!!

    Thanks in advance guys..

email roger brown at 4crawler and tell him what you've got... he'll tell you what you need.

speak to JIML, he bought one for a 2nd gen from him.

basically you need lift blocks, hardware set (nutsnbolts), rad drop bracket, bumper lift bracket and steering column extension
nee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!

                Thanks Matt..
Tony, it was just the combination of bits that I wasn't sure whether I needed or not, such as the A/T bracket and the body mount bushing kit. I did email roger, but he just emailed back the table of parts.

If you want a 2" lift kit from Roger Brown, to include 'ultimate' blocks, imperial grade 8 bolts and nuts (strongest he offers), radiator drop brackets and bumper raise brackets then you want to order 2" HD/HW and thats what you'll get. Think about a steering shaft extension but he maintains its not necessary but optional. Do you have an auto, find out if you need a linkage bracket, I dont and am not sure bout auto's.

My lift is installed but not tightened up and the steering shaft looks a bit tight. Theres a splined joint at both ends of the shaft and I've loosened both and they slipped out about 1/4 inch at both but it still looks a bit tight and they arent for slipping out any more. Free-time and daylight needed
