Why not hang around the outskirts until close to form up time and then proceed to Marble Arch, do a few laps to ensure that everybody's assembled and then peel off to head southwards ?
Have to make sure that there's a petrol tanker or two for the V8's if they need to do more than a couple of laps of Marble Arch though !
