    My starter gave up a couple of months ago, I stripped it and filed the contacts and contact ring, it worked for a while just clicking on the odd occasion but yesterday died completely, luckily on the drive so starter's on the bench waiting for service kit from Roughtrax that I was too tight to buy the first time. Hope it works cos its nearly fifty quid
    Anyway its a two by four most of the time....

      i don't doubt it mate...at least when your truck breaks you know how to fix it. i just stare for a couple of hours at the engine scratching my nuts looking for something to tighten up/undo/block/unblock or kick. and if that don't work it sits there for 6 months until i realise it's always the immobiliser and just need a new battery!
      i swear, it was like that when i got here...
