Just got my Surf delivered back to me, from the garage/ mate I told you about:

New cam belt fitted
Replace all other belts
New front pads
Oil and filter
New air and fuel filter
Replaced rear diff oil - looked a bit white (need to install diff breather extensions)
Topped up front diff oil
Greased U Joints and ball joints
welded up hole in exhaust (till i supply new front pipe)

Parts and labour.

How much???

fair deal I suppose, I just prefer to do as much as I can meself, I understand that time was an issue for you when you could be earning.
I just don't trust garages.

which i thought was great.

Its good for a normal garage faced with a import, they normally kack themselves and double the bill.

I wouldn't have charged much less TBH. Less than £200 wouldn't have been worth the effort, when you add the price of all the parts used.

I actually used the list from your site tony - the full service list and then added the new cam belt. I would have prefered to take it to a specialist like you, but there are none round here and you're too far away for a routine service. I'm happy to hear you think the price was fair.
